To maintain, cultivate and promote the Portuguese Language and Culture, as well as its customs, in such a manner as to honor and distinguish the Portuguese Community.
Foster civic participation and responsibility among the membership
To establish and maintain socio-cultural and recreational relations with other similar organizations.
To collaborate with federal, state and local entities, when such is solicited as long as it does not interfere with the operation of the club.
To participate in various manners, in cases of recognized necessity within the Portuguese Community, such as charitable and benevolent activities.
- To organize and carry out the following annual feasts: The traditional “Noite Madeirense”, in April. The feast of our Patron Saint, “Nossa Senhora do Monte” in August. The “Anniversary” party,
celebrated in September. Other feasts exist that are traditionally planned and held, such as the “Dia de São Martinho”, “Mother’s Day”, “New Year’s Eve”, “Portuguese Night” (Fados) and “Noite Açoriana”.
Encourage its members to participate in various Club activities.
